    The Hay Festival in Les 2 Alpes invites you to spend a weekend living the life of yesteryear: period costumes, traditional trades, know-how from the past... Not forgetting a good dose of conviviality and "special" Hay Festival menus!

  • Provisional programme for these days of conviviality and tradition:
    Saturday 3 August: Presentation and demonstration of traditional crafts, food, refreshments and bingo.
    Sunday 4 August :
    8am: meet the farmers and their herds at the foot of the Venosc village cable car, followed by breakfast, a storyteller and sheaves of wheat distributed in the church square.
    9am open-air mass at the Broua in Venosc
    10am Parade in period costumes along the Avenue de la Muzelle, aperitif offered by...

    10am Parade in period costumes along the Avenue de la Muzelle, aperitif offered by the commune and lunch with the flavours of the Hay Festival on the festival site and in various restaurants in Les 2 Alpes.
    All day long: wooden games, presentation and demonstration of traditional crafts, folk groups, horse-drawn carriage rides (Mérens horses), refreshment stand, garage sale, sale of regional products, etc.
    Demonstrations will include hay-cutting, an oil mill, an apple press, a threshing machine, a clog-making machine, a flour mill, bread-making with a kneading trough...
